maybe loading crappy movies with blu-ray because eros lousy job working on blu-ray picture and audio not good quality.

switching authoring houses won't solve the problem. Giving a good source will help in getting a good product out...

Agreed. The only difference an authoring house can make is how the package might physically look since all they have to do is simply make the discs in bulk.

Lets hope EROS brings better results this year and that the others keep up the good work and keep improving.

^ I am hopfefull that Rocket Singh BD will be good. They are using the full BD for the main movie. Extras will be on a separate dvd. So forth all YRF BDs will be like this.

Another thing, encoding at a higher bit rate and filling up say 50gb disc doesn't mean it will be a good disc... source needs to be good and proper care during encoding needed to make a good bd disc... i am sure we will get there pretty soon...

by the way, any news on 3 idoits bluray?? I saw this movie in theater, too good for repeat viewing, hopefully they make a superb bd out of this movie... anyone listening??

^ true but after watching New York (relatively new movie), I am confident that they would do a good job on Rocket BD. Only thing I would say negative in NY BD is the SD audio.

Personally I don't think the picture quality is very great either. Considering that 'New York' is a recent film, the picture quality is just acceptable and no more.

I hope having a second disc doesn't affect the price. It's like csrini1 said... just because they fill up the disc doesn't mean the quality will be any better.

Well opinion varies, it's not top notch but definitely a good attempt. It's more than acceptable.

It all depends on the source. If source is good even bd25 will look good. I am just hoping that the rocket source is good.
