Can't Watch Blu-ray.. Help - Blu-ray Forum

I can't watch my Terminator Salvation because my PS3 tells me to update it. I have read some articles about some issues that PS3s are freezing when you update to the latest firmware. So I haven't updated but now my PS3 is telling me to so I could watch/play movies.

What should I do? Help.

Consider all of the ps3's sold to date........lots.
Most I'm sure (including mine) have been updated many times and are A.O.K!

I have the most recent update and have no problems. If you are concerned try disconnecting the internet connection and try to play the Blu that way.

I disabled that internet connection but it still asks me to update. My PS3 is the fat one.

I have a fat PS3 with the most current update. I haven't had any freezing issues with mine. Terminator Salvation plays fine with the new update.
