Hey folks,
I am in the process of looking for a new plasma and the display that I have my eye on has a native resolution of 720p. Newer 1080p versions will be coming out in the next month or so but will be $1100+ more then these existing models. With that said, I am curious to know how Blu-Ray content looks on a 720P set. I have seen Blu-Ray several times on 1080P screens and the content looks phenomenal, unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to see the same content played on a 720p set. With a viewing distance of over 7ft on a 50" screen, how much of a difference are we talking in terms of quality with a Blu-Ray feed going into a screen with a native resolution of 1365 x 768 vs 1920 x 1080. Thanks! Dave |
