Angry 911 disappoints me!

Disappointing story about dialing 911!

So yesterday I was doing some work in our construction trailer(I'm a new home builder) and I heard 2 loud explosions that sounded like kicka$$ fireworks or M80's so I race outside and I see a late model Dodge Dakota in the median and it took out a huge steel light pole and it was engulfed in flames. So I call 911, its rang for OVER A MINUTE! So I hung up and was NEVER called back! So I run closer to the truck to see if anybody was in it, there wasn't. So he must have ran out of the truck because it was on fire. Suddenly as I'm taking pics the transformer explodes and the truck catches on fire again! About a minute later there was about 4 police cars and 2 fire trucks here. Nobody could put out the fire because it was electrical and they had to wait until FPL showed up to shut off the power because the pole he hit just happened to lay across 3 other power lines.

Anyways, I'm very disappointed. First time calling 911 and I get no response at all. Now what about if I'm in an emergency later on in life and I need them? Are they still going to be stuffing their faces and sitting on their fata$$es or was everybody there on vacation? Just pisses me off.

Heres some pics tho! Also, these were taken with my 8GB iPhone, so they're not great, but pretty good from a phone.

They are very nice. Lacking some things right now, but can easily be addressed with the next firmware update

The pics came out pretty good I guess. They look better on the new MacBook Pro 17" notebook that I just bought rather than on the internet.

Welcome to Florida, The Incompetent State. My dad had a similar experience when he called 911 to report an accident he witnessed. The 911 operator did answer the phone, but then transferred him from WPB 911 to Lake Worth 911, then from there to Lake Worth Police, over to WPB police, who then transferred him back to where he started at WPB 911, who finally figured out how to send an ambulance. They wasted close to 10 minutes with all that while one of the drivers was laying on the ground bleeding and unconscious. I hope I never get into a wreck and have to rely on them to come save me.

I moved here about 3 years ago.... never had to use it until yesterday and what a complete disaster. Its great knowing most of the U.S. retirees and seniors are here in Florida and that 911 can't answer a phone
