Default My Music Studio/Home Theater

Here is my man cave!! The place where I can dump all my instruments, put all my movies and sit back and relax

Note it's not a high end system but made of parts from here and there, but for now it does the job pretty good. Maybe in the future I'll add a projector

Display: Panasonic Plasma TH-42PW4
Projector: Epson 5010
Receiver: Onkyo TX-NR609
Central Speaker: Polk CS175
Front Speakers: Polk TSi400
Surround Spkrs: KLH 206
Surround Back Spkrs: Bose 141
Subwoofer: a Sony 100W (will eventually upgrade to Polk)

Welcome nando! If you don't mind a little criticism you should pull your towers out in front of the screen and try to toe them in a bit, other than that it looks like a nice setup.

Yes we do , i have also a small Peavy and the Roland . I was using a usb link with a Shure mic but my kid and his friends broke the mic and i have been to buy the M-Audio Fast Track since i have 2 audio out's from my pedal board and it comes with Pro Tools SE .

What do you have in your rig ?

BTW will you change your center for the CS10 or the CS20 ?

what's a rig?

yeah of course! the plan is to eventually update to a better central and also a new sub. I'm currently using an old sony one but I already have my eye on the Cherry Polk PSW110 just need to wait some time since i spend it all on the projector and screen....

Sorry to make that not very clear : recording gear !

Edit: If you are looking for a new sub i would look for something else than the Polk like for example a BIC f12

Oh yeah this is my music equipment..but please note I'm not proficient on any of them

Yamaha Bass
Ibanez Electric Guitar
Roland Juno Stage Keyboard
Roland Cube Monitor CM-30
Roland Microcube Bass RX
Shure SM58 mic
MXL 990, 991 condenser mic
Yamaha DTX Explorer digital drums
Alesis Multimix16 Mixer
Pedal Distortion DS-1
Electrio-Harmonix Holygrail
Acoustic classic guitar
12 String Acoustic
Charango

Hi Nando, welcome to the HT threads. Since you are obviously into music you might not like the Bic. While it does go lower and might be cheaper the sub is not very musical. In other words the sub has a good bit of overhang and has very long decay time. So it has also been labeled as a one note sub. Have you not also read the same thing Fern?
