Default Creative Gigaworks Series II T20 and T40 speakers

I'm looking for some computer speakers for my PC than don't come with a subwoofer. I've narrowed it down to the Creative Gigaworks Series II T20 and T40's. They both have the same frequency response. I will be sitting about 3 ft away from the speakers. Are the T40's worth it over the T20's? Any disadvantages with speakers with M-T-M configuration over a M-T configuration?

I have the T40s. They are amazing! I had a logitech X-240 before. The sound is much better IMO. I don't even miss having a subwoofer. The 2.0 system really performs. You should have jumped on them around thanksgiving. Newegg had them on sale for $60 bucks if I remember right.

Are you able to detect from which woofer the sound comes from with your T40's? I'm not sure if dual woofer's will make the sound stage bounce around vertically or is the same sound split between the 2 woofers?

I've got a pair of the original T20's, and they are excellent!
