so our kids christmas is done with, and now its time to shop for us

i told my wife i would like

batman aa
&
god of war collection for christmas

but im not sure bout, gow.

inFamous
beatles : rock band
guitar hero smash hits

are some other candidates for the 2nd choice.

which ones would u guys get?

2 great games at a great price I'd stick with GOW Collection. I wasn't a huge fan of InFamous.

This could help steer you towards a game you might have overlooked.

smash hits was on sale at best buy for $20, not sure if it still is, but i think its definitely worth it at that price, god of war collection is fantastic though, plus its two games for less than one of the other ones, i guess it depends on how much you like music games

I believe Guitar Hero Smash Hits is only $10 through Best Buy Gamer's Club for a limited time, then there's a manufacturer's coupon somewhere for an additional $5 off to make it $5 total.

I personally loved InFamous, and if you like Batman, you are probably a comic book fan and InFamous should appeal to you even more. I like GoW collection but if you already have played the two games they are still much the same (though they do look much, much better on an HDTV).

whatever i get i will be happy....my kids are going to have fantastic christmas, thats the most important thing! and all you married couples w/ kiddies out there...u guys know what happens in february? our taxes w/ child credits state & fed checks wahoo!

Try and get hold of Singstar with the Wireless mics - this will give the whole family a laugh over Xmas.

Borderlands has very fun and varied gameplay (enemies in different missions have different tactics and the layout is very different), and splitscreen

about those wireless mics, are they compatible with guitar hero? is singstar a first party title?

borderlands looks like a fun game, the box art is terrible.

Yep and yep !! They work with Guitar Hero, and Singstar is a Sony title, with pretty good support. Have you downloaded the new Singstar Viewer, so that you can check other people's media even if you don't own the game ? It's on the Playstation store.

Heck, you can even hear me sing a couple of tunes from last night when I was absolutely bolloxed lol !!

I was up till nearly 3am AGAIN playing it. Yay I'm sad !
