I think you should make one titled, "Stupidest/most abused phrases." First would be "half a dozen". Second would be the misuse of the word "literally". Actually, it should be on this list.

I'm going to have to say "Like" and "Basically". I hate it when people use the word "basically" to start off a sentence.

To sidetrack a bit, I also grate my teeth whenever sentences are started with "I'm sorry but" and "It's funny because".
