I'm curious as to how to find the extended cut on blu-ray. I can't even find a listing for it on amazon.co.jp. Yes, I know it's called Biohazard there. I still can't find it.

Goddamn. That's like $43 for one movie. Worse than TT. It definitely has the extended cut though? I can't remember why I was looking for the JP version over the German, but I thought there was a thread about it a while back. Maybe someone said the transfer was better.

I own the Biohazard pentalogy, and can confirm that the disc in this set is. I don't own the individual release, so I can't confirm it, however the description on Amazon.jp, CDJapan, and YesAsia states that it is.

I'd hold off until the release of the final movie. Anderson confirmed an extended cut of Retribution and Milla recorded a commentary for Afterlife just before Retributions Blu release. They're obviously holding that stuff plus the extended edition of this back for a complete boxset release.
