Default Beauty And The Beast Audio Weirdness

I got the Beauty And The Beast blu-ray for Christmas and during the scene where the Beast takes Belle to a better room, he says "you wanna stay in the tower ?" But the audio is messed up. "wanna" is said twice. It's only said once on the original dvd of the film. I mentioned this on another forum and they said that they, too, heard the repeating word. They also said that the word is also repeated in the subtitles. Has anyone else noticed this ? Other than that, the blu-ray is amazing. Though, it is a touch too bright and sharp on an HD computer screen. A bit jarring.

I actually stumbled on this the other night...

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0101414/faq#.2.1.3

I found it interesting mostly because of the re-animated backgrounds following the song "Human Again."

Yeah, but the extended special edition from 2002 doesn't have the stuttering audio that I was talking about. I watched the original dvd just to make sure and the stuttering/repeating "Wanna" isn't in the special edition of the dvd. Was this something that they did just for the blu-ray ?

The beast's stuttering was in the original version (on VHS), and Disney removed it when they first released the movie on DVD. Some fans complained, so they put it back in on this release.

Well, the extended special edition from 2002 is wrong. The stuttering is supposed to be there. It always was. Except on the DVD, where it was missing.

there is a fairly large thread on this somewhere on here. Or maybe it was just a few pages of the official beauty and the beast diamond edition thread, but it was entirely dedicated to this.
