Am I the only one that wants The Gods Must Be Crazy to be released on blu-ray? I never hear anyone talk about this movie anymore. I recently showed my wife and kids my DVD of it and they thought it was hilarious.

Man, I don't think I've seen this movie since probably the late-80s. Seemed like it was on HBO all the time when I was a kid, and I remember watching it a lot. Would love to revisit and see it again sometime.

I would like to see all 3 of Jamie Uys's movies that HBO overplayed in the '80s and '90s released on Blu-ray:
Animals are Beautiful People (1974)
The Gods Must Be Crazy (1980)
The Gods Must Be Crazy II (1989)

I have DVD but I'm game for BD.

Reflective, Comedic, War/Violence, Existentialism, Environmentalism, etc. TGMBC's got it all! It is an interesting psychological phenomenon!

Gotta watch it tonight!

UPDATE:
Watched it. The movie is still great and made me laugh! The DVD (PQ not great to begin with) upscaled to 4K was pretty awful to look at; by far the worst DVD PQ I've seen. I would love to have a BD of it but how many are interested in this quirky 80's non mainstream movie?
