Good headphones for late-night listening - Blu-ray Forum

I'm looking to get a couple pairs of headphones for me and my fiancee, since we're in an apartment for a while, while we house hunt. I don't want them to be super expensive, but I'm also not sure of a price range since I've not bought headphones in a long, long time. Is it absurd to want to buy two pairs for at or under $120?

Of course, we want these for "in-the-time-being-use," until we get a house. They'll be used for Blu-rays and DVDs.

What do you recommend?

Wired, with at least 8 feet of wire. A fine balance of quality and comfort, but for sure over-ear phones.

These are not super high quality, but I got my son these for his keyboard and iPod listening. I listened to them to compare them between my $200+ Denon's. They are good but certainly not the same quality as mine.

You want to pay $120 for two pair of headphones??? You might be better off with 4 cans and 2 strings.

Seriously, go check http://www.headphone.com for something in your price range.

I highly recommend Senheisser hd555 and they go for @Amazon for around $80 give or take. I have it and so far I love it.
