I wish that the list would state which ones will be filmed in 3D and which ones will be converted over in post production.

But right off the bat 'Tron' and 'The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn' grab my attention.

I hope this converted 3D stuff goes away. I fear if the studios realize they can shoot 2D and convert to fake 3D afterwards for cheaper than actually shooting with stereoscopic cameras, and audiences don't realize it, this could become a bad trend.

I agree with you and have a reason for that.

I just started a thread in the off topic which is linked in the OP. I don't think I would want to mess around with 3D based on scientific studies.

I guess health matters more to me than entertainment.

Guardians of Ga'hoole in 3D?! YES! Snyder is my favorite director, so this should be interesting, although it probably won't be his usual action stuff. Off of that list, I'll probably see:
Titans
Alice
Toy Story 3
Tron
Guardians

Tron I wouldn't mind seeing in 3-D, I bet that would actually be pretty cool. The fact that Daft Punk are supposed to be in it doesn't hurt either. I look forward to hearing the soundtrack they are working on too. After seeing the trailer on imdb.com for the new Pirahna movie, I think it will tank IMO. I'm wondering how they got the cast they did for it: Ving Rhames, Elizabeth Shue, Jerry O'Connell, Christopher Lloyd and Richard Dreyfuss.

I think that movie is meant to be a comedy in a certain way. which explains the casts.

Totally agree with you guys on converted 3D vs filmed in 3D. If it is not filmed in 3D, it is not worth it for me.

All of these caught my attention:
Toy Story
Transformers 3
Underworld 4
The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn
Spiderman

Transformers 3 and Spider-Man would be so awesome in 3D. Spider-Man really lends itself to the format because the audience wants to eel like we are swinging with Spider-Man 20 stories in the air.

Unconfirmed 3D Possibilities:
Captain America
Green Lantern

GL would be fantastic in 3D

Oh god, so many movies!

I don't wanna see anymore 3D. It doesn't mate the movie any better for me, maybe if I was 9 it would be "wicked-sick". I wanna see a movie, not have some expericence, sit around getting a headache and looking like a jackass. Not my idea of money well spent.

Avatar had no need to be 3D, Harry Potter will have stupid spells coming "right-at-you", zombieland will have gore coming.... RIGHT-AT-YOU!", Tron will have bikes and "trails" coming... "Right.... At...... You", Spiderman.... Webs, Toy Story.... Toys.

All 3D can do is one thing and it gets old after 30 mins.

**** you Avatar! I hope Hurt Locker destroys you and films follow the trend of being a awesome movie with great acting, story and cast.

3D is preventing that?

You don't need 3d to enjoy a movie, you don't need color to enjoy a movie, you don't need sound to enjoy a movie. Hell, just read a book.

Transformers 3 is NOT confirmed. But is definately possible

Taken from https://michaelbay.com/newsblog/newsblog.html
"It's a process we're testing with some 'Transformers' scenes," he said. "How successful it is with my movie in terms of a lot of real stuff coming out of the frame, real dirt, real complicated little particles coming towards the lens, because hopefully that process will work. I've seen some tests that look great on other movies. I just want to see how it looks on my footage."

Well that is fine for you but I think 3D is a more enveloping format for me. Like surround sound, it helps immerse me into the film. 3D does only one thing but so does every other tool in a movie; it is just one more way to include the audience in the film. I don't like the stuff coming right at you either; it's hockey. Having depth in the picture if more entertaining to me anyway.

Did you even see Avatar? Aside from maybe two scenes, I found the 3D to be the exact opposite of "Things coming right at you". I found that it added depth to the picture, and almost went into the screen rather than popping out at me.

But I guess your entitled to your opinion, well so am I. And I think Hurt Locker was a steaming pile of sh**!! The only award it should be up for is a Razzie!!

Yeah, I seen it at IMAX, I know Avatar didn't have thing flying all over the place, but all these other movies didn't take 10 years or the same route as Avatar.

Think Tron legacy is the only one I'm REALLY looking forward to.Also Alice in wonderland, but the others looks like they don't benefits as much from 3D (Those I know about that is).

When something has to break a lot of new ground, a lot of work goes into it. You shouldn't be insulting the filmmakers for taking long a time to make it, you should be grateful there are filmmakers ambitious enough to take on such a challenge.
