Default Best of Blu-ray box sets?

So those best of blu-ray movies have 3-4 full length feature films on them? All in Full HD?

The Best of Blu-ray packs are 4 discs with 4 different movies on them. I don't think it's all on one disc, not enough room for that.

I was going to say, how would that be possible? Well that's pretty cool, at a discounted price? It would kinda suck if you already owned one of the movies.

The Best of Blu-Ray, Volume One (Lethal Weapon / The Road Warrior / Swordfish / Training Day) is selling for $58.95 USD on Amazon.com. That is an average of $14.74 USD per movie/disc.

If you were to buy them separately, they are selling for $19.95 USD on Amazon.com.

So yes, you are getting a good deal. You will end up saving $19.85 USD in total if you take the difference between buying all 4 separately or the 4-pack.

Can't wait for those BD 200 gig discs!

Little off topic... but is it me or does the cover art suck ass for all three volumes.

I could have made that using MS Paint.

It looks like the only movie from the sets that I already own is The Departed. I'm going to buy all the sets and then trade The Departed to someone here. Yah! I love deals!

I'm assuming they're just gonna be the BDs in their original cases and all, just bundled together in that box? I'm wondering because I'd love to buy one or two of them, but I rather keep the movies as standalones and toss that ugly box.

That is basically like buy 3 get one free. So if you want 3 of the movies it is a good deal given the 4th is free. If you want to think of it that way.

Default Best of Blu?!!?

I just saw the preorder availibility for the Best of Blu-Ray volumes. Does anyone have any information on these sets? It seems very, very price friendly, so friendly that I'm skeptical. Is it too good to be true?

What do you mean ass too good to be true? just picture it as a box set where it has 4 different movies in it, that is exactly what this is...

Question Best of Blu-Ray?

these packages are absolute jokes. "BEST" is a loaded word. are these really the "best"? and do these movies really belong together? (the departed, blazing saddles and superman: the movie??? whhhat?!) i don't understand why they're doing this? it's like the costco 4 pk idea but at least those make some sense. who comes up with these ideas? (stepping off of soapbox) now what are your thoughts?

Best of Blu-Ray Volume 1

Best of Blu-Ray Volume 2

Best of Blu-Ray Volume 3

What's wrong with Superman, it's an awesome movie, one of the best comic book movies ever made. It's a little soft focus in some places, but that's how the film was shot. Close up shots look very nice.

Phantom of the Opera is an awesome movie, and has a really sharp pristine image.

I haven't got The Last Samurai yet, but it's on my list to get eventually as that's a great movie.

You know, they obviously aren't going to package up new releases like Pirates, Ghost Rider, The Patriot. They seem to be a fairly solid bunch of films in each package though.
