Narcos: Season 3 Release? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone heard if Narcos Season 3 is getting a release. DVD just went up for pre-order on Amazon from Lionsgate for release on November 13th, and Lionsgate has been pretty good when it comes to TV shows on blu-ray, but just wondering if this is where things start to change.

Has anyone heard if it's getting a blu-ray release as well?

I know Arrow has it on their site, region B only.

It will probably get a release. If the DVD is scheduled for November 13th then expected the Blu-ray to release the same day. And that also means that it's still a tad early to do any official announcements. I think it will be fine, like you said, Lionsgate is pretty good on doing TV on Blu-ray. I honestly wouldn't panic.

Are you going to make a thread every time a TV season isn’t released on Blu (Vice Principals, Silicon Valley etc.)

Either way, looks like the press release came out today and it appears to be DVD only. Damn.

its getting a BD release in UK,Germany and Australia

Well, that's unfortunate. I was tempted to own least the first 2 seasons on Blu-Ray & Digital, and get the third season. Third season wasn't that bad at all. It didn't even feel like it slowed down or changed from the other two seasons. Unless the first two seasons sold themselves well on the idea that it was Wagner Moura's show and people didn't want to tune in.

Third season was really good, but I think a lot of people tuned out once the Pablo arc ended.

I remember when the season 3 trailer for Narcos appeared on the Narcos page on Facebook. 50% of the comments were centered on what was Gabriel Iglesias doing on the show and the other half were that they were going to stop watching the show because it ended with Pablo. The people who ran the page actually started getting nasty with people in the comments as they seemed frustrated with the response.

I have a strong interest in seeing S03 of Narcos - Seasons 1 & 2 were excellent, and S03 looks great as well. Just because PE died at the end of S02, it doesn't mean the drug problem went away - LOL. Not sure why people tuned after after S02...

Don't know what version you're talking about but my version (Netherlands/Belgium) doesn't say that at all.
I also tested it and it is region free.
