![]() "Man of a Thousand Faces" Trailer "Man of a Thousand Faces (1957) is a film detailing the life of silent movie actor Lon Chaney, in which the title role is played by James Cagney (The Public Enemy, White Heat). Directed by Joseph Pevney (Body and Soul, The Night of the Grizzly), the film's cast included Dorothy Malone (The Big Sleep), Jane Greer (Against All Odds) and Jim Backus (Rebel Without a Cause). The film was made in CinemaScope. The film starred Richard Burton (The Robe, Cleopatra), Maggie McNamara (The Cardinal), John Derek (The Ten Commandments, Exodus) with Raymond Massey (Things to Come, How the West Was Won), Charles Bickford (The Song of Bernadette, The Big Country), Elizabeth Sellars (Desiree) and Eva Le Gallienne.
