oh sweet. I still have the discs. I spent around 80 hours with that game.

You're in for a treat. Probably one of the Top 10 RPGs of the PS1/Saturn generation (and that's saying a lot considering my top 10 includes Xenogears, Suikoden, Suikoden 2, Final Fantasy Tactics, Alundra, Lunar SST, Dragon Force, and Shining the Holy Ark)

Well technically have Grandia III in my collection but never got to play it yet because of wanting to play the series in order.

I still have Grandia up on my shelf; excellent disc art on that one.

I found the battles to be kinda easy, but the characters are amusing and there's a nigh unlimited supply of town talking to be done. Expect to spend 80+ hours if you're determined to get every byte of text out of this one.

I thought the story has nothing to do with each other, so there is no dependency to play it in order.

Yeah I figured that but I just like to play the games from 1st to last.
