It does not have both endings. The movie clocks in at 2:36:05. However, I looked at kannisto's comparison screenshots of the Extended and the Theatrical endings, and the PQ and framing on the HK disc looks closer to the Extended Ending's PQ and Framing. As I don't know what the difference between the endings are, I can't tell if the HK disc used the Extended ending and left out the theatrical ending, or vice versa. There is always the option that the HK version has a better PQ theatrical ending than the Japanese version. In the end, I just do not know.

Movie takes up roughly 47GB of the disc.

I just got it yesterday, took DDDHouse only about 5 business to shipped from Hong Kong. The Blu-ray was release like last tuesday in Hong Kong.

I had not see this movie yet, but seen the other 2 in HD. the quality is very good especially in daytime outdoor, indoor and night scene suffer a bit.

Sound is top notch, 7.1PCM. The English subtitle is together with Chinese...

The movie is very slow start. Kinda strange consider very dramatic in the last movie ending.

What I like it has like 6-7 minutes of recap of most major event of previous 2 chapter.

The Ending is quite good strange it took pace after credit..

The CGI is not as good I had hoped for. But again this is limited budget film more focus at cast then special effect.

About $29-30 from DDDhouse is quite decent for this movie.

This is my first time hearing this movie. I haven't watch any of the movies yet & planning to get the first chapter to start off. I had read the synopsis & find it quite interesting. How is the movie? If you would compare this film to a western/holywood films, which one (or combination) would best describe the Twentieth Century Boys?

I find it impossible to compare this & most Japanese films to western hollywood films. If you like Japanese manga or anime you will find 20th Century Boys impossilbe to stop after the first Chapter. I have already watched the first two chapters twice & can not wait for chapter 3 to arrive!

Thanks Kevtronn. That's really assuring. Yes, I do love Jap manga & anime. I've ordered the first chapter.

In west not many heard this mange before, but is very popular in Asia. It has very original and creative story that is more realistic than most manga. But I think is heavy borrow from religion perceptive.

Both Urasawa manga's "20th Century Boys" and "Pluto" are doing well in the US (in fact, both were nominated for an Eisner Award). We're at volume 8 now with the manga.

I loved the first film, the second was just trying to cram so much story into over 2 hrs. of film and I think that is what made the second suffer a bit in terms of storyline.

I look forward to the third film and hopefully it does do the manga some justice and doesn't stray to far away from it.

I will say that I do enjoy the films, I just felt the second was like a lot of Japanese films (esp. anime) where they try to cram so much story into a single film. For J-dorama fans, seeing ToyoEtsu and Tokiko Tokiwa together again (for those who loved "Aishitteru to itte Kure") for "20th Century Boys" was pretty cool!
