Default Any BD's about Knights & Dragons?

My 2.5 year old son is heavy into knights and dragons. Are there any movies about knights and dragons? I know the answer is no regarding anything that came out recent. I can't think of any besides Disney's Sleeping Beauty (got it), Lord of the Rings (knight-ish folk but no dragons), Dragonslayer (too adult i think), and the flick that came out a couple years ago with dragons set in the modern/future times.

And this got me to thinking - they need to do more medieval knights & dragons movies. What the heck!? Especially with today's tech!

Reign of Fire...probably too adult though.

Dragon Hunters

Not an adult film by any means, but certainly darker than Cars.

Eragon is more of a teenage movie, with large battle scenes. Don't remember much blood though.

Dragonheart!

No blu ray though. Only DVD and HD DVD. Great movie. Haven't seen it in awhile, but I remember it being fairly tame.

Does "Tale of Despereux" count?

(Love that movie...)

I was going to suggest Dragonheart... But then I remembered Universal hasn't released it on Blu yet... What's up with that? But, it's one to watch out for, they did it on HD DVD, so it can't be too far down the line... It's a fun movie.

Sometime this year How to Train Your Dragon will be out (coming out in theaters in March). I'm sure he'll get a kick out of that one.

The Rankin-Bass "The Hobbit", though animated (and not HD yet), also has one of the great dragons of literature, though no knights.
(And with Paladin's voice, no less. )

beowulf is pretty good, not sure if it's appropriate for a 3 year old though.

Might wanna give "The Pagemaster" a try, it has a dragon in it among other things and it's rated "G". It's only on DVD though, but it can be found cheap!
