Blu-ray you bought and regret getting? - Blu-ray Forum

for me it's highlander hands down. the sound is like amplifed bad stereo. some scenes still look like grainy poor vhs. i sat there saying wtf to my flatscreen. regret buying & is buried at the back of my collection never to see the light of day again.

Do you mean Australian purchases or world-wide purchases? (blu-ray doesnt have an E btw).

falling down.. if i wanted 2.0 dolby i could have just bought a freagin dvd for that... 2.0 ain't HD

Lock Stock and Two smoking barrels. The PQ was poor for such a good movie.

.... its 2.0 TrueHD lossless... 5.1 does not always mean its HD, especially if it was only mastered in 2.0

Menace II Society , crappy transfer & a dissapointing film. Watched it years ago when it first came out, it was banned in the UK..... that alone ment you had to see it!!! Its just not a very well made or acted movie full of characters I felt nothing for.......what a waste of 20 buck !!!

Havent seen Drillbit Taylor....didn't look all that great from the trailers though.
Watched Day Watch, thought it was so so, never saw Night Watch

I can only deal with Harrison Ford in the Star Wars and Indy movies. Bladerunner left me cold but it did look spectacular.

The Highlander. it wasnt just the poor PQ, the film is garbage! not at all how i rememberd it as a kid....somethings should stay in the past
