Default The Art of Getting By - November 29, 2011

The Art of Getting By Blu-ray

The Art of Getting By Blu-ray Review

https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=7429

Quote:
This November, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment presents The Art of Getting By on Blu-ray. Director Gavin Wiesen's quirky dramedy stars Freddie Highmore (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as a lonely high-school slacker whose life changes during his senior year when he befriends a beautiful kindred spirit (Emma Roberts, It's Kind of a Funny Story).

In addition to Highmore and Roberts, the film features an impressive cast including Michael Angarano (Red State), Alicia Silverstone (Batman & Robin), Rita Wilson (It's Complicated), Sam Robards (A.I. Artificial Intelligence), and Blair Underwood (Gattaca).

Fox's Blu-ray presents the film in its original aspect ratio of 2.39:1 with a 5.1 DTS-HD-Master Audio track. The disc also has a number of bonus materials, such as:

Audio commentary with director Gavin Wiesen
New York Slice of Life featurette
On Young Love featurette
Fox Movie Channel featurette - In Character with Freddie Highmore
HBO First Look - The Making of The Art Of Getting By
Theatrical trailer

The Art Of Getting By streets on November 29th.

Ugh..I just now seen that. Wow. Guess they want to make money that it didn't make in theatres?

$28 for a non-combo pack is ridiculous.

$24.99 is kind of a lot for a single disc blu-ray. Does anyone know much much it is in stores?

When I searched "The Art of Getting By" only a soundtrack showed up. Then I searched "art of getting" and it came up with soundtrack, dvd, and bd. interesting.

So my local Best Buy, both Walmarts, and Target don't carry this. Just the DVD. Blah.

Target.com has it for $14.99 but no free shipping. IDK how much their shipping is.

Amazon has it for $20.49 so I told them about Target's price but nothing yet. I doubt they'll drop it.

Canada's HMV store is the only place with the Blu Ray and it's $34.99. Crazy. I'd like to have this for a better price. I saw it in theatres and I was literally the only person there. Good times.
