I got a 32" Dynex (BB brand) for my inlaws this Xmas for $299. That was the cheapest I saw.

What's the urge in urgency? Rather than buying the cheapest set (and you know the adage "you get what you pay for"), why not save up and get something a little better?

As this is the Plasma sub-forum, I'll tell you that there ar NO plasma's under 42". For $550, you can get a Pany 42" X1, which is probably the best set for your $$ in this size range.

True...I'm just fed up with my colorblind 20" hdtv from insignia...so the urge grows everytime i can't see s**t whether I'm playing ps3 or watching blu-ray..people said it was the hdmi cables that was causing the deformed color which it wasn't..
