Bloom story arc was complete with P3... They should just keep Jack and his crew and reboot the rest..

even if they were both coming back for PotC4, I still say don't make it.

Exactly: Umm, were Knightley and Bloom supposed to be IN it??

That was sort of the point, y'see, about staying till the end credits on POTC3, even though most of us were out of that theater like a shot...

(Besides, it's based on an existing book, and their characters weren't in it...Next question.)

Even people who still care after PotC3 (and those are few) shouldn't care much about this. Seems logical.

I posted the thread for ones that care. Im not a fan of the films at all. Ive only seen the original. Just saw the story on Yahoo, and figured some people would want to read it.

There are rumors floating around this film is doomed to begin with and may not even get off the ground. I wouldnt be surprised if the studio scraps it.

If they can't do any better than the 3rd one (with all of the effort and money invested in it), it's probably time to put this baby to bed.

The first was alright.. the 2nd and 3rd were a bit Batman and Robin for me.

I like the entire trilogy and honestly the love arc story of Turner and Swann was what was holding the series back. Hopefully a return to swashbuckling pirates who kick butt first and take names later will rejuvenate this franchise and get people to love it again.

I guess i'm in the minority because i loved all three movies!

I just took them as what they were....fun summer popcorn movies!

I guess I have a soft spot for these because "Pirates" was always my favorite ride at Disney World ever since I was a kid.
