Default Gahhhh AMAZON

The most random things (like a LAWN MOWER) are popping up in my Amazon quick picks (which usually give me 5% off an upcoming or recent blu-ray). I know it is directly related to my viewing history, yet I just scrolled through the entire thing... only blu-rays.

Does my viewing history only reflect what is browsed on this computer? Could I be signed in on another computer?

I know this might be a customer service issue, but I thought it might be happening to others as well.

Very occasionally I'll get something riduculous in my amazon suggestions, and my only thought is that somebody with similar buying habits as me recently bought that item. But I suppose you could be signed in on another computer, maybe try changing your password if something seems fishy.

It is not you or anything you can control. As a change every so often, Amazon rotates in items that have nothing to do with your owned items, wish list, purchases, or anything you control as a user. My guess is they like giving slow-moving items a little exposure from certain categories, to see if they will get a sales bump.
