they still show replays on sci fi and adult swim from time to time and you can rent then as well. it's about a guy who created a horribly low budget cheesy show but in his mind he thinks he is genius.

Yeah, Dr. Ronald Chevalier is a parody character played by Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords. Watching some vids of the character he reminds me of a cross between The Guru Pitka and L. Ron Hubbard. The name of the movie is Gentlemen Broncos, not sure when it gets released but I think it's already done with post-production.

based on the leather vest Dr Chevalier is sporting I think you might enjoy Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and that type of humor. it's not for everyone but you might like it.

Matthew Holness is the real person who created Garth Marenghi the "author, dream weaver, visionary, plus actor, who plays Dr. Rick Dagless, M.D.: 'Dag' is a Vietnam and Falklands War veteran and former warlock. "

here's a quote from Marenghi that I remember as he gives a brief intro before each episode: "I'm one of the few people you will ever meet who has written more books than he has read. "

I nearly forgot about this movie until I saw a trailer for it on a recent rental. I'm bummed this never made it to a theater near me; but at least its coming to Blu soon. I'm seriously stoked about this
