Order it from Amazon.uk, it's region free and looks spectacular. That's where I got mine. They usually have a sale 2 for 17(pounds) which turns out to be about $30.

well "Amadeus" is the only one so far to get rereleased in amaray so it is possible.
(one that started as a digibook)

As I recall, there's a few more coming up that are making the transition. Don't remember which.

I like the digibook of The Green Mile, it compliments the digibook of The Shawshank Redemption perfectly!

Casablanca was never a digibook -- it was that awful, big box.

Natural Born Killers started as a digibook and was released in a regular case. Different versions of the film, though. The digibook was the theatrical cut and the other version was the director's cut. Aside from NBK and Amadeus, no other digibooks have made the transition.

'Bonnie And Clyde' was released as a digibook and is about to be released in a standard blu-ray case as part of Warner's Oscar Winners promotion release.

Fine, I'll clarify for the anal types. It came in a fold out, cardboard "book" style case as part of the box set, with nearly the same height and thickness as a digibook.

Semantics, jeez.

I'd say The Green Mile will be released in a non-digi style in a good year or so. Better off importing the UK version OR just buy the digi-book version and throw it in an empty case.

Natural Born Killers started as a digibook and later got released with the standard case. So that's three now. Odds are fairly good this will get the standard case. You just have do the waiting game.

To clarify the Natural Born Killers releases:

The R-rated relesae is in a Digibook only.

The unrated release is in an Elte keepcase (Amaray makes the thicker cases) only.

300 was also given similar treatment:

The release in the Elite keepcase is the older one from 2007 with PCM & TrueHD audio and is Profile 1.0 only.

The release in the Digibook is the new 2009 release with TrueHd audio only and is Profile 1.1 and 2.0 compatible.

Re: NBK

Believe the keepcase verion of NBK contains both the rated and unrated versions, so is a bump up from the digibook, not just a different version. Also a booklet that may have the same content as what was in the digibook.

(Not sure, need to crack that keepcase open and watch it! Don't have the digibook.)

Nope, the new Natural Born Killers Blu-ray in the plastic case only contains the director's cut. There is an immense upgrade in picture quality over the older digibook version though.

all imports are non digibooks.
Warner doesn't do digibooks anywhere else except the US.
(maybe Canada, not sure)
and as far as Casablanca--even the case inside the bog box isn't a digibook.
at least not like what we are referring to as a digibook.
so that one shouldn't even be in the discussion imo.
