If you just have the TV speakers , I would just leave it on the DTS 5.1 !

I really don't think it will matter witch you choose just having the TV speakers . Sense the DTS will be A better sound track I personally would want it set on the best one .

But isn't that for when you have multiple speakers?

Dolby 2.0 would probably be best if you had two speakers hooked up to an A/V receiver.

He doesn't have seperate speakers attached!

It doesn't matter one bit what you put it on. The TV speakers can't reproduce any of them properly. Don't sweat it....you won't hear a difference with any of them.

I've always been under the impression that with just TV speakers you might have better luck with being able to understand dialogue if you select the 2.0 track.

Your TV will not decode Dts.

You will have to down mix Dts > 2.0 PCM.

Yeah I was guessing with 2.0 dialogue would be clearer, since 5.1 DTS would be "louder".
