Question Am I the only one who doesn't want a 3DTV?
I find 3D to be distracting. It takes away from what film was all about and makes it more into a gimmick. For example, instead of getting a scene directed to give us a sense of the location, character or plot...I get a scene directed so that a guy can come walking to "me" and I'm supposed to go "wow".

The ONLY positive I can see coming of this is that the price of HDTV's without 3D may drop, which would benefit me. Other than that I find it useless.

I certainly hope we don't start getting "3D only" releases in the future.

Film to me as I knew it is slowly starting to fade away...

Does anyone else share my thoughts about 3D?
