windows xp file help free bluray included

Ok so i traded a motorcycle for a windows xp home retail version installation disc on craigslist lol.....and I didn't check the disc and of course when I try to install xp it didn't work because it had a pretty good sized scratch in it....well it didn't copy like 200 files....so if someone owns this same cd. or windows xp home(vx2hfpp_en is the name of the disc when you put it in a computer already running)and is bored and will copy all the files to folder names that they go in and upload them for me to download and my windows works after that I will send someone a new release blu ray of their choice...and if it doesn't work i'll send you an old one i don't want for you trying lol.....it won't take that long since i have a list in alphabetical order to send you of the files...do we have any volunteers?

which do you want ? i can send the files via aim , xfire etc..etc...

try putting some toothpaste along the scratch, rub it in, then wash it off.. used to work sometimes when I did it.

wait a minute i am gonna try hollywood video for their disc resurfacer and see if that fixes it but its like 200 files

motorcycle for a cd installation disc?

it was a motorcycle that was 25 years old and didnt run and i needed a xp cd lol........so after going to hollywood video it missed loading 6 files compared to like 205 before....

then at the next screen when installing windows a little error popped up that said lsass.exe "An invalid parameter was passed to a service or function" and then i pressed ok then it restarted by itself....

.then i left the room came back its at the same installing screen now but i don't know if that lsass.exe error popped up again....
it said windows will finish installing in 39 minutes.....30 minutes later it says the same thing....
does anyone have experience with this?
does it count down or does it just say one time and you have to wait?

Let me just give you the short answer: you need to start the installation process again.

Slightly longer answer and more explanatory answer: Get a fresh disc — one that is not scratched to héll and back — and start over. The entire installation shouldn't take more than a couple hours, and that's including the service pack and Windows updates you'll need to download (depending on which version you have on disc). It's not worth the trouble and time to try and patch an installation when you can do it perfectly in just a couple hours.

There's a 0% chance that install will work correctly when done, and only a 50% chance of that! What did I just say?
