Since I just picked up Clash of the Titans, I guess I'll be picking up this one too.

I wouldn't think so. WB steelbooks all seem to be G2. Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows is already confirmed G2 and they come out pretty close to each other. I would think this would be G2 as well. Universal steelbooks seems to be G1 in the US quite often. My Fast Five is G1 and I noticed at BB that Safe House is also G1, both Universal releases.

Underworld 3D was G2, so maybe this one will be too?

I have no interest in the movie whatsoever, but I want that case. It's beautiful.

If you don't like G-1's, don't buy them. They'll quit making them and the world will become beautiful again.

Saw a few Green Lanterns at the Best Buy by my house and they were all G2 copies. I picked it up to look at it, same size as all the steelbooks I purchased. I bought like 8 steels this week at BB and the Green Lanterns were the same size as the others, thought about getting it but I really didn't like the movie at all. Lantern is my favorite DC comic character and they screwed it up too much for me.

Apparently, the original printing of the Green Lantern Best Buy steel was G1, but those went OOP. These new steels that are reprints that are available at BB right now are all G2 including Green Lantern. I think this shows that WB are a little more committed to the G2 size. Bodes well for those of us who like a little consistency in our collections. I own 1 G1 and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I don't hate it, but I often wish it was the same size as my others.

Here's a pic, notice Green Lantern's size is the same as all others:

Original steelbook release of Green Lantern initial Blu-ray release was G1, but the recent blu-ray steelbook release is G2.

I would say the odds of this being G2 are about 50/50. But there's only a 30% chance of that.

Lol!!

It MUST be a G2, cause this is a 3D Title, and when have we seen a 3D title in a G1 case period?! If we when talking Wrath Of The Titans standard Blu, than I would be extremely worried! So I would say our chances of this being a G2, are about 75%!!

Green Lantern is WB and the Steelbook is G1.

Given that there was a wave of WB G2 Steelbooks in Bestbuy doesnt mean that Clash Of The Titans wouldnt end up G1...

Does it require you to pay in full now at BB or is it just $5?

Don't think this is a pre-order, empty case thing. Underworld and Sherlock Holmes were just available on release date.
