Synopsis: Based on the novel by Stanislaw Lem (Solaris). Robin Wright stars as herself in this drama directed by Ari Folman. When mature actress Robin Wright realises that no studio will offer her work anymore due to her age and her unpredictability, she agrees to sell the rights to her digital body to be replicated in computer-animated films. 20 years later, while attending the Futurological Congress Conference, she discovers that the studio who recorded her digital image now have the technology to morph a human into their own personal avatar. Agreeing to undergo the process to be turned into an avatar of herself, Robin soon starts experiencing hallucinations as her conscience battles the transformation.

This movie sounds very interesting. Robin Wright is such a wonderful actress... can't wait to see her in it.

Really disappointing watch for me. The animation is really amazing to look at, but the story and pacing are all over the place.

Truly a unique movie with a fantastic Robin Wright!

Mind you, the other casting members like Danny Huston, Harvey Keitel and Paul Giamatti aren´t slouches either

.

This movie almost got by unnoticed, and that's a real shame. Hopefully the blu-ray will get this movie the attention it deserves. It won't be everyones cup of tea, that's for sure, but just take a chance...

Hi there, would you also be able to tell what audio track this UK release has? I can't seem to find it anywhere and some Scandinavian pages suggest it has only 2.0 audio but at least with the DTS HD Master Audio codec.

Bought the disc and just popped it in: English: DTS-HD Master Audio: 5.1 confirmed. There also is a LPCM Stereo 2.0 track.
