Default The Siege!

Just wanted to say its a great movie. Just watched it on my PS3 and I was impressed with it.

It wasn't a movie where you watch it due to the picture, the picture was good but nothing great. Its a movie that has very good acting, and a very mysterious all around film.

I rate it 8.5/10.

A bit creepy watching this film after 9/11, but it's a good one!

I've never seen this one. Worth a blind buy?

A good watch, but not much replay value (IMO). I am sure it can be had for less than $10.

I'm not sure why this movie isn't rated higher in viewers' minds. I suspect that Bruce Willis' performance was a major factor (he earned a Razzie Award for the Worst Actor), but some of the issues dealt with may have left many uncomfortable with the subject matter (made all the more eerily prophetic with the events that transpired three years later; the film was produced in 1998). It's far too political in content for us to discuss on this forum, but aside from Willis' role, I enjoyed this film quite a bit (it helps that my favourite actress, Annette Bening, played both roles well, that of Elise and Sharon).

As much as I like the film, I wouldn't recommend picking up the Blu-ray version (due to the subpar video and audio). It's worth at least a rental in my book, and I've seen the DVD version selling at Walmart for ~$5, about the cost of a weekly rental.

I watched this movie not that long ago via netflix. I had never heard of it but I am a big Denzel Washington fan and thought I would give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Not much replay value IMO but is definitely worth a rent.

I watched it as I got a deal for it at Fry's.

This movie is worth every dollar, I am really impressed with it. Please buy it, it keeps you on your feet. The actor was great!
