United Kingdom Fireball XL5 - A Day in the Life of a Space General

I'm a huge Gerry Anderson fan and was astonished to see this British Blu-Ray release. Does anyone know if it's region-free? If so, I'm totally importing it.

Likewise, does anyone know if there are plans to put the complete XL5 series on Blu anytime soon?

Sorry to rain on your parade, TTC. I checked the distributor website and it doesn't look good.

Yeah, every place seems to just say "Region B", but considering they dont say anything else, I'm left to assume it's region locked. Oh well. Thanks for saving the the trouble of importing something that wouldn't work.

i just cant understand while so many people go 'oh, but its region locked oh well'. Why not buy a region free blu ray player and never have to worry about this, i live in the UK and when i went to buy a blu ray player i made sure to find one that was region free and within a few hours of internet research found one that was certified to be by a simple code input and there you go a bluray player thats region free is now in my house.

and while this has nothing to do with this post or the poster im replying too but i still cant belive that there are people out there complaing that a certain dvd set hasnt come out where they live ... jeez if you cant find a dvd player and make it region free in 2010 then you are not very tech saavy and thus it suprises me that your such a dvd tv movie fan lol

So, which is your hacked region-free BluRay player? What brand?
