I dunno, as much as I enjoy the show, it is kind of exhausting. We have had the DVD sets for seasons 1 & 2 for years and have only watched them once each.

Moderate. Some seasons and episodes are better than others, and some get better with additional viewings while others get worse (I'm looking at you, season 6). Personally I've watched each season at least twice.

I've watched all 7 of them probably 4 times through now. They don't hold up quite as well after repeats, but really what does today? I look to them when I need a good acton-y kick and they fill that spot for me better than almost every modern action film nowadays.

They are certainly rewatchable... I've re-watched seasons 1 to 4 with someone who didn't watched them and I enjoyed them almost as much as during the first viewing.

However I normally don't watch tv shows twice since I'm having a hard time to keep up with all the shows I want to watch!

I think about that question when I look at all 7 seasons on my shelf. One reason I bought them is to share with other people who haven't seen the show. I love to introduce Jack Bauer to new viewers. I have only watched each season once myself. I am actually thinking its time to watch season 1 again since it has been so long since I have watched it. I know the main plot surprises but I think I would still get a rush from the action.

It's a big commitment. It takes a while to get through 7 seasons of 24. I've watched season 7 about 3 times since I bought it last year. It really comes down to preference and as adrock said, it depends how much you love Jack Bauer.

Put it in the tray and push play. As many times as you want to.

I say that they have a good level of replay value, although you lose all the element of surprise you had in the initial viewing.

That's the worst thing. Watching 24 for the first time is a rush. Season 1 was incredible! Now...you know what to expect. Which is why many people may only need to watch it once.

I've seen every episode of ever season thus far and I don't think much of it at all would be worth rewatching, not because it's not good but because I just don't think I'd watch them that often if at all.

There are, however, certain "kills" that can be watched over and over and over.

Bummer. There is some excellent stuff this past decade. So different to the preceeding years. Cable stations have changed the way TV is done.

I've seen S1 and S2 twice. S3-5 once and not seen 6 and 7 yet.

Was pleasantly surprised when I watched S1/2 again as I wasn't sure how much i'd like it knowing all of the killer twists and turns.

No bother though. The early seasons are incredible TV and incredible TV can be watched more than once.

I'm sure i've forgotten some of the early seasons as it's a few years since i've seen them.

As soon as Fox get a move on and release the early seasons on BR, i'll be wacthing them again for sure.

I would say fairly rewatchable. Being that the entire season is extremely long in terms of duration, I think that is part of a downgrade. Plus, unlike other serial shows that have episode-long miniplots and an overarching theme throughout the season, 24 is a constant story. In other words, you can watch an episode or two randomly an enjoy the show, whereas 24 if you did so, it wouldn't be as enjoyable.
