Why is it that Meryl Streep seems to be the front runner? There's been no buzz about that movie at all other than that it's her in the lead role. I hate it when someone wins because of who they are rather than the individual performance.

Well don't be hatin if you haven't seen it. Magnificent performances don't always come from fantastic movies. Lack of buzz over the movie itself is due to the movie not being all that great, I personally liked it a bit more than most. But don't let it debunk the fact that Streep's performance was absolutely fantastic.
