Default Suicide Silence frontman killed

This was very sad news to wake up to. If you're a fan of metal in general, you've probably heard of Suicide Silence. Suicide Silence was one of the first few bands that originally got me into extreme metal, so I'm very saddened by this news. Saw them live a few times and the guys energy was unlike anything else. He will definitely be missed.

I'm sure most people here could care less about this. That's okay though, go back to listening to your Taylor Swift albums.

RIP Mitch.

Very sad news indeed. I actually own a couple of their CDs. Very good band!

BTW, yes, even T-Swizzle fans listen to metal! Lamb of God, August Burns Red, Chimaira, All Shall Perish and Killswitch Engage are actually some of my favorite metal bands.

No kidding? I didn't think such a thing was possible. Forgive my ignorance. Haha, I enjoy all of those bands as well, especially ASP.

But yes, this is very sad news. I honestly can't see the band going on for very long after this incident.

I did not know him or his music but I feel you comment "I'm sure most people here could care less about this. That's okay though, go back to listening to your Taylor Swift albums."

I am not TS fan, on the contrary I love goth etc dark and brooding stuff ... no other fans here (much anyway)...

all good for you

Sad news. I've never heard of them, but it has been quite some time since I listened to this type of music.

I love hard rock/metal music, anything from Slayer, Paradise Lost, Sentenced, Draconian, Shadowside, Iron Maiden, Gojira, After Forever just to name a few bands I love. I have heard of the band but not a fan. Sad news though & may he RIP.

According to his wife she begged him to stay home. And he struggled with alcohol abuse. He hit a light pole. The helmet he was wearing was not crash test approved.

Not my favorite genre of metal but they had a few good songs. I saw them open for Machine Head a few years ago.

Too young to die, only 28..
