Great movie, but I think they should hire ILM to re-do the special effects because by today's standards most of the original FX are super outdated and weak. I am sure they could add new FX and still retain all of the live action footage. I also think Hans Zimmer should be brought onboard to create a new score.
So let it be written.... ![]() |

YES!...oh, crap, it's that flop live-action/CGI version.
![]() (C'mon, Paramount, you're still sitting on the 1973 Hanna-Barbera/Sherman Bros. cartoon, and it's one of your Family-catalog workhorses, what's the holdup??) Last edited by EricJ; 01-10-2011 at 11:44 PM. |

Awesome, I 'll have to triple dip on the SpongeBob Movie. My parents bought me the full screen DVD, then I bought the widescreen DVD. I can still remember watching the show premiere when I was just 5, loving it before the whole world did. I also remember this being the last part of the series I really enjoyed. Didn't expect to see it so soon, but I'm glad I am!

Releaselists.com says that Charlotte's Web is in fact the 1973 Hanna Barbera version and not Dakota Fanning's 2006 version. Did some checking and both were released by Paramount so both are possible I guess. Also, same site says that the "gift set" for the Ten Commandments is a big 6-disc set and this is also evidenced by the fact that both versions are up on Amazon now and the "gift set" is listed as being $62.99(MSRP $89.99).

I'd welcome any last minute change if the press statement says different, but the devil's in the details. ![]() Last edited by EricJ; 01-11-2011 at 03:34 AM. |
