Anyone heard anything about a release for CaddyShack on BD?

I was it was supposed to be but haven't heard anything for months.

i havent heard anything yet... Im sure that there will be a realease eventually. Once it is announced, it will be a big deal. any info you might need could be in the "Is this title coming to blu" thread

Not soon enough! That's my answer. One of my all time favorites and I cannot wait until it is released on Blu!!

I love this movie. As an avid golfer, I consider this the best golf movie of all time. I have to be honest though regarding the blu-ray transfer, who cares. Yes I will buy it in support of blu-ray, but this movie is not going to blow anyone away with picture/audio quality. It is a great comedy. I hope it comes to blu soon as I sold my DVD in hopes of it being released in the near future.

Can't believe Warner is still sleeping.

I hope they will add the deleted scenes, especially the one with Carl and his huge mower, you know the scene they showed 5 secs of in the 19th hole documentary, but didn't put it as an extra on the DVD anniversary release!!!!

Maybe that's what is taking so long. Maybe Warner is giving us a quality release. Yeah, I don't think so either.

This has got to be getting close.

Caught a special on Bio HD last night -- 2-hour special on the making of Caddyshack in HD. Even has clips of the movie in HD (which look BEAUTIFUL by the way). Also states somewhere in the beginning something like: "released 30 years ago." Well, it was released in summer 1980.

Please let this be released soon.

It's got a date of June 14th in the UK, so the U.S. release should be coming around the same time.

Hopefully this comedy classic will be coming out this year with a great transfer. I can't imagine them screwing this up. This is a AAA title, recognized by everybody as a great movie! Granted, if a studio can mess up a AAA title like Gladiator(Paramount, I believe), that certainly leaves room for somebody to do it again. Lets hope not.
