Warner Bros. Picks Up 'Imaginary Foe' Pitch From Rocco Pucillo (Exclusive)

Warner Bros. has bought a pitch called Imaginary Foe from Rocco Pucillo.

The storyline is being kept under wraps for now, but sources say it has supernatural elements and is in the vein of Ghostbusters.

David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith's KatzSmith Productions is producing.

The sale comes just four months after Pucillo won the top prize at the Samuel Goldwyn Writing Awards for his script Inspector Sun and the Curse of the Black Widow. It was the first animated feature to ever take the top prize.

Rocco has worked in feature film production, VFX and animation for 10 years before turning his focus to writing only a few months ago. He's currently a second year student in UCLA's Screenwriting MFA program and repped by WME and Jackoway Tyerman.
