Default For $80, is this a decent upgrade for me?

I currently have the Polk RM85 5 sat speaker package. I have recently been offered a pair of R50s for $80. I know they were the best model in the Polk low-end of the times, but I'm not sure they would be worth it. Any thoughts would be VERY helpful. Most curious about the center blending well enought with the R50s.

Currently pushing the speakers with a Sony STR-DG810 receiver and also using a Velodyne VRP 10 sub. Thanks all!
