Hiya has anyone seen outpost 2? is it any good? ive never seen the first film but thats not avaliable on blu for some reason!

I guess I need to see the first film for sequel to make sense?

Have not seen the 2nd movie.. I do, however, own the first one on DVD and I really enjoy it! I've always been a sucker for horror-war movies and this one was better than I thought - recommend it! Would be interested in seeing the 2nd but I don't expect much lol

Liked the first one and I'd buy it on blu if it ever made an appearance, so I'll give this a go but I might wait until the price drops

The first one was OK, but in case you're expecting a zombie movie going in [as I was], it's not. I'm sure one of the quotes on the front mentions the Z word. They're ghost/ spirit creatures, the director even mentions in the extras "these are not zombies"..

Id like to see the first one but I wont buy DVD anymore, a conundrum! ive heard good things about the second film. Maybe they will release the first one soon.

I've got Outpost 2 on BD. I imported it from Germany about Three months ago. It's a good sequel that belies its $6 million budget.
I don't think it's as good as the first one, but it's still enjoyable. The AV quality is good, but a lot of it does take place in the dark.

There were no bonus features for the film, but a few for The Film Iron Sky for some strange reason.

Shame the first isn't on BD. But I think it's being released on BD in a double pack with the sequel,I maybe wrong though.

Just checked Play no. 2 is £12.99

The first one is...ok. Some decent scares, a few good kills, an overall polished production...but I found by the ending the film just sputtered and died. This sequel definitely won't get a blind buy from me.

Part 1 was quite boring and part 2 is even worse. I definitely will not buy a 3rd one.
