The region 1 DVD is one of the worst i've ever seen - and i've seen a lot. Glad to see this getting a "hopefully" decent release - has the potential to be quite a looker; the DVD hinted that this might be a good looking film. Thanks for the heads-up.

I had the laserdisc, I never even bothered getting a DVD of it as the PQ was reported to be so awful. Thanks OP.

That looks like a bootleg Resen release. Since there is no other release worldwide the source could be anything, a HDTV rip, a web rip etc. so I'd avoid getting it and wait for a proper release.

I agree that it's probably crap. But it's also Disney and "waiting for a proper release" means we'll never get one.

There are some screenshots over at mundodvd.com they seem to think that the source may be from a HDTV rip as I mentioned further up, so its buyer beware.

Meh. Most Spanish BDs seem to be official bootlegs anyway, this one isn't much different. I still wanna pick it up at some point.

Did anyone eventually get this, and if so, what’s the quality like? In the link further up, the screenshots looks ok, is that representative of the disc? Also, is it a pressed disc, and not a BD-R? Thanks for any info.
