Blu-Ray Player Problem - Blu-ray Forum

My Momitsu BDP-899 is fast, quiet, incredible, and has the region free function. Lately it's been acting up. I put in the Fourth Kind that I rented on Netflix and put it in the player and it went to the main menu very quickly, but wouldn't let me press PLAY. When I did, the PLAY button flashed white, as if it was selected, but the main menu just continued as if nothing happened. I tried doing it through the scene selection and it says PROHIBITED whenever I press PLAY. Now, if I do a firmware update, it doesn't let me play other region discs, so what can I do to fix this problem? It doesn't do this with any other Blu-Ray, just this one. And this Blu-Ray works fine on my SONY player in my living room.

Also, Momitsu won't respond to any of my e-mails...I've sent several and they seem to be ignoring me or something.
