Anybody get the game? If so, what do you think so far?

I played about an hours worth yesterday and the game looks great...

I'm about 10 hours in and loving it. The graphics are great, the story is phenomenal, and the game play is addicting.

I'm about 7 hours in and the linearity is really getting to me. Run in a straight line, fight, run in a straight line, fight. It is an enjoyable game, but I really hope the world opens up more.

FFX was the last FF game I played, and I remember it being pretty linear, but not to this extent. I guess I just got used to WRPGs, and expected a bit more exploration.

Some positives: The battle system is so much fun; way better than the traditional turn-based. The story is shaping up to be one of the best in the series. The voice acting is top notch.

I got it, and yes, it does look great, despite all the negative press the 360 version has been getting. The only thing that bothers me (besides the slow start) is controlling the camera... it can be a pain in the ass.
