So, I found out today, that in April, we're getting a bonus at work. So I'm trying to decide what I should spend the money on. Some of it will go into the construction of my basement room for HT, but some of it WILL be spent on toys. My current ideas are: Elemental Designs EL8.3t towers. These would be a little more than the bonus, but I could start saving for the extra cost. Emotiva XPA-3 amplifier. Even with shipping to Canada, should be under the bonus amount. I'm listening to a lot more 2-channel lately, probably about 80% music- 20% movies. I'm not sure if buying new speakers would be the way to go, using my receiver to drive them, or to use my current speakers, which I love, and give them more power. HELP!!
