Default Sony S790 Audio Settings Help Needed

Guys

Need help here my sony s790 is out putting to my pioneer rec in PCM

I want it to bitstream? so my receiver get the signal and outputs it in either Dolby TrueHD or dts-HDmaster where I can see this on my receiver display.

My receiver is a Pioneer elite 03, which is not 3D cabable so my set is:
Sony S790 HDMI output 1= To the TV(LG LM6200)
Sony S790 HDMI output 2= to the pioneer receiver BD in.

my Sony S790 settings are untouched other than having the player split the HDMI signal.

Can some one help me here and give me the settings I need to get this signal sent to the receiver.

Set audio output to AUTO(HDMI) and it will bitstream if the end device has the ability to decode. Bitstream and pcm are the same in the end. You are just selecting which device decodes.

Thanks for the reply, I went into my previous BD player and duplicated the settings and it worked.

Thanks again
