It is disappointing for sure. Maybe we'll get a 4K set for its 20th anniversary? I hope.

This was the big teen franchise when I was a certain age, but I never actually read any of the books or watched the movies. Still, I know a lot about the series simply because I lived through the Twi-craze, and I actually relate some to Stephenie Meyer as a writer (we even have almost the same playlists when brainstorming). I even bought a set of all the films on Blu-ray when it was $5, but I haven’t even played the discs. Maybe I’ll get around to it one of these days.

Ridiculous that films 2-5 are still MIA on UHD. You’d think this series would easily be big enough to warrant that. They were all shot on 35mm film, though they might have been finished on 2K digital intermediates.

Missed opportunity to include the MPA cuts for Breaking Dawn Part 1 as well as both cuts for every film.

This won't even bother including the trailers probably (pretty sure only the first film ever had its marketing material on disc but I could be misremembering).

This is the 5th complete collection they've done, on top of the individual releases when they first came out along with the 2018 re-releases of all 5... so I'd say anybody who wants them has them already, there's been plenty of chances. Release a 4K set or, at the very least, 2-5 individually or don't bother at all.

This and Saw are what carried Lionsgate prior to the Hunger Games, yet both series are suspiciously absent on 4K (minus the first entry).

We supposedly have the sequels coming in 4K now, from a Lionsgate insider.

I couldn't quite tell from this site's reviews, are the 1080p Blu-rays in either this set or in the 4K set new transfers / encodes / anything? I'm assuming no.
