I know this a noobish question but I was wondering I just made my account on amazon and it said free 2day shipping for a month for new members. How do I cancel the free month before it starts charging me for the year. Also Amazon is as easy as ordering from other websites , right?

Go to your Account, click on Manage Prime Membership, click "Do not Upgrade"

Also, if you want a free 3 month trial instead of 1, follow these instructions:

Ok thanks. Also Do I have to have a Credit card on file in my account even if I use a giftcard?

You don't have to I believe. I have an account but don't have a credit card on file. Only when I purchase the item is when I either use a gift card or a credit.
