The world needs ditch diggers too.....

One suggestion.....

Get some good lined curtains for those windows.... the current window treatments took good, but they probably let a little too much light in.

A store called "Tuesday Mornings" and also Overstock.com is a pretty good place to find some nice ones cheap.

EDIT:

here's another crazy suggestion..... Get a swivel wall-mount for the Plasma, and put it in the corner.... It's nice having the screen drop in front of it, but you could run both during football season

- good idea about the curtains, but never home before sunset..

- thought about the permanent screen, and tv i another local, but actually like this for now, maybe later...

thanks for the input.....

that same questioned haunted me for many, many days prior to my decision to get one. i thought it would be very difficult. how the hell do i line up the screen with the image.? how do i get the projector centered then the screen..?? what about all these calculations, getting the screen height just right..???

all for not. dude it was not exactly easy but i did it by myself. its a dlp not lcd so i thought with no lense shift i was screwed but i wanted dlp.

i said screw it, i want a big screen (had the 50" plasma, the 65" dlp) returned them both, just not good enough. i got the projector.

when it arrived i basically got the center of the screen wall by measuring from both side to center, and hung the projector. wanted it close as possible to the ceiling. once that was mounted i projected the image onto the wall, marked off the top, and side of the image with tape and hung the screen. the screen is manual pull down so that was the scary part, with manual screens you can only pull down in sections, so i was praying the screen lined up perfect, and it did. if not the only fix would have been to move the screen mounts up or down the amount needed.

that was it. took me about 45min to an hour. and beside the sub, it was the best purchase i have made.

to add to that, when i decided to get the small plasma for the wall (just to watch the news ect ) i just marked the original location of the mount, and re-installed the shelf mounts in the same place. this brought the screen out the 4" i needed to clear the plasma

Just ordered the Mits HC1600 and Mirage speaker setup for living room. Like your setup ditch. DT speakers are what I'm using in my bedroom (Supercube III and Mythos Gems coming to bedroom after I get living room setup going).
