Canada Killing Them Softly DTSMA Track Problems?

Just finished watching the canadian EONE release of Killing Them Softly and the audio seemed to be extremely tinny from the left and right. Centre sounded fine, rears had a heavy presence, but the left and right were almost non existent. The music throughout was tinny as hell and anytime there was a pan across the front stage it died on the left or right. (my system is set up properly, just want to know if anyone has also experienced)
Anyone experience this as well?
Thanks

I can't speak for the Blu-ray as I have not purchased it yet, but the film when presented in theatres had a very odd/unique sound style (as well as visual style of course). So maybe its intentional...

Hi Jaay, I just bought it and I don't experience the problem. I think that is intentional like
Rhylliam said because the director make the sound subtle on dialogue and goes boom when
shotgun shell is shoot.

I think you don't have to worry.

I've noticed that, Canadian DTS-HD 5.1 soundtracks, doesn't sound as bombastic and full as the U.S blu-ray titles. I don't know why. I've compared many Canadian, and U.S lossless audio blu-rays of the same titles, and the U.S releases always sounds much better, while the Canadian appears to sound strained.

Hi guys,

When someone gets this disc, could you please let me know the extras, whether it is a BD-50, and, if possible, provide a BDInfo scan?

Thanks,
McCrutchy
